We acted for Windward Resources Limited (ASX: WIN) on its recommended takeover offer by Independence Group NL (ASX: IGO). The takeover offer valued Windward at approximately $20 million. Windward’s nickel and gold exploration interests are located in the Fraser Range region of Western Australia, near to the Nova deposit and other project areas held by Independence Group.  Board control of Windward passed to Independence Group late in October 2016.
