Oak Valley Truffles was a truffle farming business located in Manjimup, Western Australia which was operated through a complex structure involving multiple registered agricultural managed investment schemes. Due to the complexity in operating the business, in late 2014, the business of Oak Valley Truffles was corporatized by way of Truffle Properties Limited (TPL) acquiring all of the interests of interest holders in Oak Valley Truffles.

We acted for TPL in respect of the corporatisation of the Oak Valley Truffle business. TPL has been very successful in operating the truffle business and is now the subject of a hostile takeover bid from another local Manjimup operator, Hazel Hill Pty Ltd. We are assisting TPL with its takeover defence.
