Lodgement of documents with ASIC

From 1 July 2017, the mail box for lodgement of hard copy documents will be removed from all of ASIC's kiosks. Documents will need to be lodged either online, via an agent or by sending directly to ASIC’s Traralgon office for processing.
Certain documents that are processed at the local ASIC offices will continue to be served over the counter at ASIC. These include takeover and scheme of arrangement related documents, capital raising documents, notices of meeting relating to related party and control matters, financial reporting relief applications and amendments to managed investment schemes. Forms relating to updating company details and other similar documents will no longer be accepted over the counter at ASIC offices.
ASIC have advised that a communication about this will be sent to ASIC agents in the near future.
