The Partners at Steinepreis Paganin are pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Purser to the partnership, effective 1 July 2025.

Ben joined the firm as a Law Graduate in February 2015 after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce at The University of Western Australia. He was admitted to practice in December 2015 and has been a Senior Associate since July 2019.

Alongside his studies, Ben was a development player with the Perth Wildcats in the National Basketball League (NBL) and continued to represent his local team, the Perry Lakes Hawks, in the State Basketball League (now NBL1) throughout his time at the firm, up to 2023.

Ben has extensive experience across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including equity capital markets (IPOs, backdoor listings and secondary offerings), mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, ASX compliance, governance and commercial strategy. He also has significant expertise in the mining and resources sector, advising on project acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, farm-in arrangements, royalty agreements and the preparation of title reports.
