The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) has today announced that implementation of the ASX Listing Rule changes proposed under the ASX’s consultation paper Simplifying, clarifying and enhancing the integrity and efficiency of the ASX Listing Rules has been delayed until 1 December 2019. This will mean that listed entities will not need to implement the changes prior to AGM season and will have more time to process the changes.
 
The final version of the changes is now likely to be released in late September/early October 2019 (subject to regulatory approvals). We will provide a further update at that time and will be happy to assist clients with ensuring compliance with the proposed changes.
