Background and Experience
Liesl graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Science, and in 1998 with a Bachelor of Laws. Liesl was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in Western Australia in March 2000.
Liesl joined Steinepreis Paganin in October 2002.
Liesl was appointed as a Senior Associate at Steinepreis Paganin on 1 July 2005.
Liesl has been involved in a broad range of corporate transactions including advising on capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, managed investment schemes, corporate reconstructions, commercial drafting and compliance issues.

Matthew graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2000 with a Bachelor of Laws. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance with FINSIA (formerly the Securities Institute of Australia).
Matthew joined Steinepreis Paganin in January 2001 and was appointed as a Senior Associate in July 2008.
Matthew has a wide range of experience in general commercial and corporate matters, capital raisings, acquisitions, commercial drafting and compliance issues. Mathew's other areas of practice include Australian Financial Services licences matters, mergers and managed investment schemes.

Background and Experience
Darren graduated from Murdoch University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment through FINSIA (formerly the Securities Institute of Australia).
Darren joined Steinepreis Paganin in July 2003 as an Associate and was appointed as a Senior Associate in December 2008.
Darren has a wide range of experience in general commercial and corporate matters including capital raisings (advising issuers, underwriters and financiers), mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance and general contractual drafting. Darren's other areas of practice include shareholder disputes and requisitioned meetings, acting for both requisitionists and companies, including advising Boards and individual directors of their duties. Darren has advised bidders and target companies in numerous takeovers, including representing parties in Takeovers Panel proceedings.

Background and Experience
Toby graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 1997 with a Bachelor of Business (Management) and in 2001 with a Bachelor of Laws that included study at the University of Notre Dame Law School in the United States. In June 2003 Toby completed a Graduate Diploma in Company Secretarial Practice and was made a Chartered Secretary in November 2006.
Toby was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in March 2003 and the High Court of Australia in December 2003.
Toby joined Steinepreis Paganin in October 2004 and was appointed as a Senior Associate in July 2009.
Toby has a range of experience co-ordinating major asset acquisitions and associated due diligence investigations, takeovers, capital raising, company meeting and corporate governance matters, convertible note and debenture issues and other general commercial matters.
Toby is a Governor of the University of Notre Dame Australia.

David joined Steinepreis Paganin as a Senior Associate in July 2010. Prior to commencing with Steinepreis Paganin, David spent over seven years with national law firm Freehills in their corporate section, including two years as a Senior Associate.
David has a wide range of experience advising on public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity capital market transactions and general corporate and commercial matters.

Background and Experience
Andrew graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1997 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science (Jurisprudence). Andrew acted as Environmental Advisor at Santos Ltd before commencing work as an energy and resources lawyer at Freehills in 2003.
Andrew joined Steinepreis Paganin as an Associate in October 2007 and was appointed as a Senior Associate in January 2011.
Andrew has a wide range of experience in mergers and acquisitions and energy and resources matters. He has advised clients on takeovers, corporate reconstructions, capital raisings and general corporate matters including joint venture agreements and the acquisition and divestment of energy and mining assets. Andrew was a past board member of the WA Sustainable Energy Association and past president of the National Environmental Law Association (WA).

Elizabeth joined Steinepreis Paganin as an articled clerk in February 2005 and was appointed as a Senior Associate in January 2011.
Elizabeth has experience in primary and secondary capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, preparing and reviewing prospectuses, commercial drafting, due diligence investigations, managed investment schemes, company meetings, Corporations Act and ASX Listing rule compliance and providing general commercial and corporate advice.

Rhys graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Corporate Finance) in 2002 before spending the next two and a half years in London working on a contract basis as an accountant in two major law firms. Rhys then returned to Perth and commenced employment with Steinepreis Paganin as an Articled Clerk in October 2005 and was admitted as a solicitor in Western Australia in November 2006.
Rhys was appointed as an Associate in December 2009 and was appointed as a Senior Associate in April 2011.
Rhys has a wide range of experience in general corporate and commercial matters including capital raisings, spinoffs and demergers, mergers and acquisitions (including schemes of arrangement), due diligence investigations and compliance issues. Rhys also has experience in the drafting of numerous mining and resources documents including joint venture agreements, acquisition and disposal of mining assets, royalty agreement and independent solicitor's reports. His other areas of practice include preparation of material for shareholders meetings and corporate governance matters.

Pip graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science and commenced employment as an Articled Clerk at a small commercial firm in 2005. In February 2006, Pip was admitted as a solicitor in Western Australia and commenced employment with Steinepreis Paganin in May 2006.
Pip was appointed as an Associate in December 2009 and was appointed as a Senior Associate in April 2011.
Pip's experience includes capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence investigations, commercial drafting, preparation and review of prospectuses and Corporations Act and ASX compliance. She also advises private and public companies on general commercial and corporate transactions.

Liesl graduated from Murdoch University in 2004 with a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies (Japanese) and commenced employment as an Articled Clerk in 2005 at Phillips Fox. Liesl was admitted to practice in New South Wales and Western Australia in 2005 and joined Steinepreis Paganin in February 2007.
Liesl was appointed as an Associate in December 2009 and was appointed as a Senior Associate in April 2011.
Liesl's experience includes capital raisings, preparation and review of prospectuses, Corporations Act and ASX compliance, mergers and acquisitions and advising private and public companies on a range of commercial and corporate transactions.
